Not sure what to say?

Hi, my name is David Lappin. In the mid-1960s to 1968 I was in a high school band in Buffalo, NY and we called ourselves the ninth movement, rhythm and blues. I played guitar, Doug was our lead vocalist, Nick Veltri was on bass, Ronnie Wagner was our drummer, and Freddie Rapello, our lead guitarist. Does anyone remember us and is this the Doug Salvo, which was in our band?

To the Salvo family,
Nieces of Douglas S. Salvo, daughters of Bonita C. Roos (Salvo), sister of Douglas S. Salvo, would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you at this time.
May god bless your family.
Carrie & Rebecca

To the Salvo Family, I am saddened to learn of the loss of Douglas. I only knew him for the four years of my high school experience, but through those four challenging years of my life, Douglas was Always a class act and Always supportive and encouraging. The world is richer for being touched by the glow of his presence.

No bond was ever greater than the bond that you and Douglas shared. In the 30 years I've known Doug he Loved you and his children unconditionally and always spoke of how he could could not bear to lose you, but we know he will eternally be a presence to guide you in your work. I Love You
Blessings,
Nettie
