Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Doug. He was my contact person @ D&W Food Centers for 20 years as my company sold eggs to D&W. We had several meetings and lunches together strategizing to make the best deals and decisions. We never had got into heated debates knowing we wanted the best for both parties. A classy person who worked hard to do the best for everyone. I am humbled to know him.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Doug´s passing. Sue and I had the privilege of working alongside Doug for many years, and his kindness, humor, and genuine interest in people left a lasting impression on us - as did his father, Lee. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories and the legacy of love...

Although we never met Douglas, knowing his daughter Leah has given us insight into his compassion, intelligence, graciousness, and diligence. We are so sorry for your family's loss.

Gay and family . . . we are traveling and were so very saddened to hear this news about Doug. We loved working with him and have so many fond memories from work and work related fun from our "D&W days". Our lives are all the better for having intersected with the Scholma family all those years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you navigate through this loss. We send peace and comfort to all. Jeff and Georgia Gietzen
