Not sure what to say?

I have numerous memories of my cousin Doug. We would go to our grandparents house on Sundays and Holidays, spending the day and have dinner together. They were always such happy pleasant times together. Doug had a very generous, kind and considerate nature. I was at his home and was admiring a horse statue, he did not hesitate to ask his mother if he could give it to me. She of course said yes, I still have that horse statue and think of Doug every time I look at it. Doug had a strong...

I was so surprised to hear of Doug's passing. I work at another hallmark and would frequently make or take calls from Doug. I always enjoyed chatting with him.
I stopped by to see him right before he left hallmark. He will be missed.

My sympathy to all his family and friends.

Terribly sorry to hear of Dougs passing. We came to know each other when he would come down on his breaks to pay my coworkers and I a visit at Sees candies. Doug was a very warm and kind soul. We liked to share mall gossip with one another and chit chat about how our days were going. Doug seemed to enjoy my cynical humor, he was always a great listener and I enjoyed making him laugh. He was also thoughtful as he would always make sure to bring us coupons and help us when we were shopping at...

Doug was a wonderful man and a great friend of the theater community. He was always so kind and thoughtful. He will be greatly missed!

Today when shopping at Mark's Hallmark, I asked about Doug and was shocked to learn of his passing. My husband and I did not know Doug well but had enjoyed visiting with him for several years. He was always pleasant and friendly, always recognizing you as a regular coustomer with a manner that made you feel you were a valued friend. He will be missed.

Doug and I became friends decades ago through my work in area theatres and his work as a reviewer. Throughout the years, we would see one another at various productions, exchange opinions, catch up with each other, and we mailed each other greeting cards. Doug was a wonderful friend who touched many lives in positive ways. He was so kind to some older friends. I will always remember Doug with deep affection and smile in his memory every time I make cheesecake.

I just learned of the passing of my friend, Doug. He and I worked side-by-side at Mark's Hallmark for four years. Out of the kindness of his heart, Doug, knowing that money was tight for me, would drive me home every night after our shift. During those drives I got to know Doug's sense of humor, his likes and his dislikes. He and I became very close- like sister and brother. I was always happy to see his face when I got to work. The world won't be the same without Doug in it :'(
