My heart is breaking for this dear family. You didn't have to personally know this gentleman....just reading the tributes makes you know what a wonderful person he was. Truly a wonderful DAD to his children. There are just some things you know, and this is just one of those things. May GOD bless this family.

I never got a chance to meet Lt. Sharp but I sure wish I had. after reading his obit. I have a lot of respect for what he acomplished during his career as a police officer. He had a lot of character and courage. As a retired police officer in Baton Rouge La. my thoughts and prayers are with his family...

Sadly I never met Officer Sharp or his family but I would like to pass along my respect and appreciation for the life of service and admiration for the legacy he has left. Like so many others my prayers are with all his family and friends.
