Douglas Warner Shook

It has been a pleasure to be in the presence of Mr. Doug Shook. Here at Better Basics, it was Doug and I who made the day go by with warmth and laughter. I will always remember my Douggy. He would always come in from lunch asking if the mail has run yet. (He was always looking for a check to come in). I thank God for the time he allowed me to spend with Doug, it was an honour and a learning experience. He taught me to always be nice to people, even when they are not nice to you. Mrs....

Doug was a pleasure to work with at UAB. His common sense and ability to work with a variety of personalities was a valuable asset in the establishment of UAB.

Doug was a very special man. His love for the Lord showed in his joy for life. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Cindy Clarke @ Better Basics
