Not sure what to say?

I miss you. Seems like the only times we were together was at the lake but what good times and fun we all had! Your dry sense of humor always made me laugh. Memories of you will always live in my heart. With love,
Barbara (your sister)

I would also like to share a funny memory I had with Doug. Being a year older than Doug I started driving first. I had a red volkswagon and in the seventies we had a big flood, so bad school was let out early. Doug and I and a friend Kenny Crowe were taking our usual route home and came upon this big pond of water. They dared me to go in it. Of course I took the dare, the VW started floating so Doug climbs out of the window and Kenny follows, they started pushing the VW out, but when I...

To my tall dark and handsome bother, Doug. Oh how I remember yesterdays with your long legs taking two to three strides to be around the corner of our house heading toward Fountain Lanes. No matter the distance you walked for miles and miles. A man of few words but your big brown/black eyes talked for you, always dancing
around in your head, but on occassion a deep bosterous voice came out from under your thick distinguished mustache (Dale Earnhart style) that got your attention no...

I'm sorry that this tragedy has occurred. My heart goes out to you all. I rarely got to experience the presence of Doug, but the times I did he always seemed like a genuine, loving father and husband. I'll be praying for you all.

PRAYING FOR YOU AS YOUR HEART HEALS. MAY GOD'S LOVE SURROUND YOU AND STRENGTHEN YOU AND MAY HIS LOVE BRING YOU HOPE,COMFORT AND REST DURING THE DAYS AHEAD.

Thoughts and prayers are with the entire famiy. We graduated Fulton High School in the seventies and knew Doug as a teenager in Lincoln Park. He was always a friendly, kind spoken gentleman with a smile.
He will be sadly missed by friends Diane Hurst and Nancy Helton.

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.

My heart goes out to you, Travis, and your family. I know your father had to be a fine man because he raised such a wonderful son. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
