Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Handbell Choir from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon, we want to express or deepest sympathies to Doug's family.

We had the great pleasure of ringing under his direction for many years at the Mt. Gretna Handbell Festival, he was a great inspiration to all handbell ringers and will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to Doug's wife, daughters and other family members.

Dear Doug,

Although we havn't seen much of each other since we grew up, I will always remember the fun times we had together in our youth.

Your Cousin
Buz

Doug was so gifted at such an early age. I can remember visiting his family as a child and Doug would always have a new song to play on the piano eventhough he could barely reach the peddles. The bible tells us that everyone sings in heaven, and I see Doug directing. My heart goes out to Aunt Ruby and the boys and to Doug's wife and girls.
Love Carol

Doug was a great man and a good friend. We are fortunate to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Love in Christ

David and Cathy Deitz

I had the honor of working with Doug long ago singing with him and also as a marching band assistant. His energy and enthuasism was contagious and he will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go to Michele, Leah & Lauren and to the rest of the Smith family during this extremely difficult time. Hugs to you all.... Wendy (Grove) Faust
