Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Doug's death. I worked at the store as a teacher for 13 years, and got to know Doug and Penny and their family. The store was my home away from home, and they were my "2nd parents".

I last saw Doug when I visited the store late last year, and as always, Doug was smiling and happy. Positive. That is the word that comes to mind when I think of him.

Penny, my thoughts are with you, Nathan and Shawna.

I remember Mr. Snukst by his immeasurable patience with our eighth grade graduates. When he conducted the interviews for their memory videos, he listened to their silly remarks, watched numerous sets of antics, and never flinched a nerve. He and Mrs. Snukst did a beautiful job of capturing the essence of what it feels like to graduate. He will truly be missed in our school.

Doug,
Thank you for being a great 2nd father figure in My son Shane's Life. there are no words to exspress my family's appreciation. When Shane statarted working for you and Penny he truly found his way. when he's at the store we knew he was safe and sound.
(Just as you are now) you touched our lives more than you can ever emagine.
(penny our thought are with you)

The community has suffered a great loss.
