Not sure what to say?

I am just learning of Dr. Thurman´s passing. In 1993 he literally saved my life when he was a physician at Baylor in Dallas. I had ulcerative colitis and had been misdiagnosed as having colon cancer. He knew what I had and how to treat me. I will forever be grateful!

I often think of Dr. Thurman. He really cared for the well being of his patients. I was 90 lbs and given 6 months to live in 2003. He kept a close watch on me. He'd often ask "just how did you stop drinking cold turkey?" Every time I'd tell him that he and the good Lord played a big part in recovery. 2023 and still sober - 20 yrs. He will be forever missed by me and so many others.

To this day, Dr. Thurman was one of a VERY few doctors who actually took my care personally. While I was experiencing a highly unusual complication following a procedure, Dr Thurman went far beyond any requirement to help me reach proper treatment and solution. I continue to be amazed at what could have happened to me had he not researched the issue and directed me to the correct doctor to solve my issue. I am forever grateful. May GOD bless the Thurman family.

He was soo helpful to others.Always humourous.Very concerned doctor for his patients.will always be thought about and missed.

I'm sorry to hear this. Dr. Thurman was one of those rare kind, gentle doctors with an upbeat attitude. Plus, he knew his business and took time to explain in non-technical terms. Condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Dr.Thurman was my fathers Dr and he was special. He always had a smile on his face and always very concerned about my dad.s health. Prayers to his family . Rest in peace Dr.Thurman

Dr Thurman was my very favorite Doctor in Dallas. He was very special to me. He was the most caring and took great care of me. I loved his sense of humor and bedside manner. I was very sad when he moved from Dallas to Houston but I understood. He will always be well thought of and remembered for the great man that he was. There will never be another like Dr. Thurman. I'm heartbroken of his passing and that I never got to say how much he meant to me. May he forever Rest In Peace!

I am so sorry to read this. I was looking for their phone number for a friend and was shocked to find out he is no longer with us. Dr. Reddy is my doctor but Dr. Thurman would take over whenever Dr. Reddy was not available. I've always admired how very professional he was. I will miss not seeing him.
My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Oh wow! I am so sad to read this.
God bless your soul, Dr. Thurman. You were a joy and a very kind person. You will be missed.
