Not sure what to say?

Hello i am tryimg to find a fellow iwent to high school with in pacific beach. Danny White, siter cathy tico.

I only knew Tico, through my father-in-law, who lives in Carlsbad CA. Every time we would visit, before sunset, we would walk to the beach. Tico and Beverly were always there. Both the sweetest people I've ever meet! Tico always had a smile as we walked up and his kind nature made me feel as if I had always known him. I will miss those times. Tico said "Watch the sun as it disappeared. If you look close you'll see a flash". Thank you Tico.

Although Doug always preferred Tamarack to the Power Plant, I remember the times he did surf there with brother Dennis, Glen, Steve, RD, Tillman and the other "legends." I felt priviledged then and even more so now to say that I shared the water with him. His surfer spirit was as authentic as it can be. I can still see his classic style knee paddling and parallel stance on the board, and that big grin of pure stoked pleasure on his face as rode to the shore.
Aloha Doug, your spirit...

I have fond memories of living across the street from Doug while I was growing up with Dennis. Our sympathy to Dennis and his entire family. I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Tico back in 95, I just started surfing and decided to come down to Tamarack and check it out. I Lived in Moreno Vally at the time, and he made me feel like i was a local and talked to me like we've known eachother for a long time. I can say he was and will be an inspiration to me and anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him. It's been an honor surfing with you and knowing you. God bless you and your family. Steve Andreas ( Carlsbad)

Doug drove the Helms Bakery truck down our street and left a lasting impression on Me. He is with me forever. Max John

Enjoyed many sunsets with you and considered you a good friend. We considered you one of our local gurus in the surfing world. Miss ya. Hope you are continuing to enjoy the sunsets with us.

I hope someone post the time and day of the paddle out?

Mr.Tico was a special man and someone I am happy to have known. My blessings go out to Beverly and all the family. He was truly a special man and will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
