Your Friends Brian and Susan

Vernon Family: I cannot imagine the magnitude of this loss for you. Doug was a truly amazing person who touched many of us in profound and lasting ways. May you find some comfort in the depth of our love and friendship for Doug.

Sean Southard (Parkway South 86')

We are sorry for your loss. May Doug rest in peace.

Doug, thanks for being a big brother to me in high school. We all looked up to you. Even though it's been about 20 years, the memories still live on. You will be missed greatly by all whose lives you touched. Please pray for all of us until we reach the peace that you now have.

To Doug's family:
I went to Parkway South with Doug and will always remember him as such a wonderfully nice person. My heart goes out to all that share in this tragic loss. Please know that our family will say a prayer for yours, and that people from all over that you may not even know you will be praying for you.
Prayerfully,
Angel(Casanova)Budd

Doug,
I had a unique position watching you grow through the years. I remember like yesterday watching those Parkway South hockey games, seeing you and “the boys” discover the yourselves in Des Peres and jumping off into the world of growing up. You are in a better place. May god bless your family and friends in these difficult times.

Doug,
You were an example of a best friend anyone could ask for, one of "The Boys", Prince of Des Peres, and will never be forgotten! May you and all your loved ones find peace and comfort in knowing you are in a better place where only tears of joy are shed. Even though Hadley won't meet you until he reaches Heaven, he'll smile from time to time hearing the old "Vernon" stories of the past.

In Christ's love,
Robert, Rachelle, Hadley, Bella & Mia

Psalm 23

Doug- you will be missed by all and what great times and laughs we had in the past. Rest in peace brother!
