We had many good times and he was a wonderful generous funny and caring person. We didnt talk as much since he moved to California but still kept in touch. So sorry to learn about Doug's passing. I was his 1st assistant at IBM upon becoming a lawyer. It was always a pleasure to work with Doug and I know he will be missed by all of his friends and colleagues.

I am so saddened to hear of Doug's passing. My fiancé and I had the good fortune of conversing with Doug when we bought a week at his Cabo house last November in support of Muttville senior dog rescue in San Francisco. We had an amazing week thanks to his beautiful house, great staff and great restaurant recommendations. I was one of Doug's dog walkers while he lived in SF. He was a genuinely kind and generous man who loved his dogs very much. He was always super generous to me even though we knew we lived on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Rest in Peace Doug.
