Long summers with BB guns and whiffle ball bats are how I choose to remember my childhood and Doug will always be a part of those memories.
We both grew up and learned of life away from Thomas Mills but whenever I need to be reminded of the innocence and sheer joy of a childhood spent in that tiny, wonderful place, I think of those days and smile.
You will be missed old friend.

Doug,
I will always remember you as being brilliant at many levels, loyal and gracious to your friends with a keen wit and an outrageously funny sense of humor. You had a knack for making people smile and the generosity you displayed by sharing your talents made a lasting impression.
You will be missed DV

Doug, It was a pleasure knowing you. You were a brilliant and funny guy who had a great way of keeping things light. Your time with us was too short but you made an impact on all of us. God bless.

I don't know which side of Doug made us prouder - coming up with an innovative solution to a problem, qualifying for the World Series of Poker or the video of his visit to the shooting range during his trip to Las Vegas. I always appreciated his dedication in the...
