Douglas F. Wagner, a resident of William Hill Manor Retirement Community in Easton and formerly of Glen Burnie, died peacefully October 29. He was born July 13, 1917, in Glen Burnie, to Howard M. Wagner and Elizabeth Wagner (nee Mitchell). He was a 1937 graduate of Glen Burnie High School and a lifetime member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. Mr. Wagner retired as a computer operator from B&O Railroad after 37 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed crafts, Bible study, travel and model trains, and had a special passion for gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Fern E. Wagner (nee Kellenberger); and brother, Howard M. Wagner Jr. He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Wagner (nee Kircher) of Easton; three children, Douglas F. Wagner of Hunt Valley, Glenn H. Wagner of Easton and Carol E. Sturgess of Glen Elg; three stepchildren, Carol Lynn Delayo, Sharon Shreet and Thomas Van Sciver; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 at the family-owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 3 at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
