I owe you so much .. . think of you as a brilliant Drawing Master every time I pick up a pencil ... and you taught me photography too ... introduced me to the reciprocity factor ... and the rest ... remember mixing D163 on that top landing ... and you lending us ( our group) your very own enlarger ... until you extracted one from the Education Dept. All of this and so much more ... not least your successful efforts which took me to The London College of Printing ... along with...

I left school in 1960 and was enrolled in a foundation course at Harrogate Art School. I remember Doug well he was a clever artist who taught us a great deal.
