Doug was a lifelong best friend. There are so many memories but February 8 1992, the day my son Justin Douglas was born stands out as one of my best memories of Doug. Doug was an inspiration to us all but he was also a mentor and awesome male role model, not only to Justin but to all of the young...

To All Doug's friends and ours, who have shared messages on this guestbook, we thank you so much for your remembrances of Doug and your thoughts and prayers directed to the Family. It means so much to know that we have such a support system at this time when we are all feeling the loss of our son, brother, uncle.
God bless each of you who have taken the time to remember.

I've had the pleasure of dolling up Dougs hair for a long time. Such a GRooVy guy and friend. Always spoke of his Family with such love. Doug never left with out asking me to tell my granddaughters Hello from him. They nicknamed him "DougBug". Take care and know Doug has left us with GRooVy memories that will always be ours forever. Sincerely from a Friend, Monk
