Doug was a dear friend and fishing buddy of my husband Jeff Burgess who just passed days ago suddenly. Jeff talked often of Doug and was deeply saddened by what he had to endure. I'd like to think Jeff met him at the Gate as he entered into heaven and they are fishing on the grandest lake with a friend named Jesus.
