My sincere condolences to the Family. I had the honor of knowing Dougie back in the early 80's while I worked weekends at Jack's Cycle Shop (under today's SuperCuts on High Ridge Road). We were all very familiar with his love for bicycles and everywhere he rode them. I had the honor of installing a new basket on his bike and I fondly remember how happy he was to have it. Over the years, I have seen him around and it always brought back memories of him hanging around the bike shop chatting...

So sorry to hear of Dougies passing! You could always count on seeing Dougie in the HighRidge area on his bike with a big smile and even a kiss at times!! So Sweet he brought a smile to everyone he met! So happy that he was given such a nice service! RIP Dougie!

I remember Dougie at ARI when I worked there and breaking ice in the parking lot with him. Also a hug he had for everyone. And if you saw Dougie you saw his bike Growing up in Stamford you always saw him riding around on his bike and having a smile for everyone! Go with the Angels my friend and hopefully you didnt run over St Peter on your way in!!!
