White, Douglas R. age 62 of Dayton, Minnesota passed away on August 7, 2025.
Preceded in death by father Daryl White. Survived by mother Rita White-Lindback, brother Wesley (Deb) White. Sisters Karen White, Debbie (Dave) Kloyda, Shelly White and Lisa White. Nephews Jeremy (Bobbi) White, Nick (Amy) White and Matthew (Kat) Kloyda. Nieces Jamie White, Claire Solberg and Rachel Solberg. Great- niece and great- nephews.
Doug graduated from Anoka High School in 1981 and went on to obtain a Business Management degree from Anoka Technical College. He worked for many years as a tile setter creating lavish designs for prominent clients on Lake Minnetonka until his arthritis prevented him from continuing. Doug loved the outdoors and being in nature. You would often find him around a campfire with his faithful cat, Molly. Camping in his RV, hunting and snowmobiling were also pastimes he enjoyed. Doug was a true Minnesotan when it came to hockey, baseball and especially the Vikings football games. His love of music ranged from gospel, country, blues but most importantly Rock music. There will be a Celebration of Life for Doug at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Anoka on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
