Not sure what to say?

I wish to give my condolences to Doug's family. Doug was someone I did not personally know well. But he was a close friend of my Father's and I grew up hearing stories about him and the daily happenings at work. I did meet Doug a few times and he was at my Father's funeral several years ago...giving great support. I encountered Doug elsewhere later and knew I knew him...and he seemed to maybe recognize me...sadly we never came to that current moment of "Hey I know you!" But I am happy I got...

Hey Pokey
You knew ... I knew .... what was... Goober

Doug was such a generous man. I remember how excited (and a little nervous) he was to watch his daughters move out the of the dorms into their first house on campus. Man, did his eyes light up when he showed them off. I only met you girls and his son so briefly, but he showed me the photo albums and I remember thinking how much he adored his kids and what a great father he was. I'm so sorry and can't believe he is gone. You all are in my prayers.

Wise,Hariff & Beamer family,
I just heard about Doug's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Doug professionally for 14 years. He gave the best tours at the waste water treatment plant. Bexley Middle School students were lucky enough to have Doug teach them about the importance of taking care of our water. Please know that he touched many, many students with his knowledge and sense of humor as he walked the grounds of the Jackson Pike facilities. He will be missed.

Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of Doug Wise. I wish to convey our most sincere sympathies to our beloved neighbors for so many years. May condolence be found in the closeness of your family and all of your wonderful memories.

Sincerely,
Cono Barbera

Tom, Anna & Family
It is such a tradigy to loose a loved one like this but believe God had a place ready for Doug. God love You and your family. You have my deepest sympathies.

I was so sad to hear of Doug's passing. We graduated from high school together and I remember him as a nice, funny guy. My prayers are with his family.

Dear Emily, Stephanie and Joey,

My heart goes out to you. I can not believe Doug is gone. He was my go to person, and honestly my best friend. I can't be lazy now, I have to find his wisdom without being able to talk to him. I can only imagine how hard this is for you; the void it leaves. I am so very sorry for us all.
