I enjoyed getting to know Doug while he was the Pittsfield Township supervisor and active in SEMCOG and I was the planning director for the city of Ann Arbor. I found him always to be thoughtful and interesting, and I appreciated his great sense of humor. My sincerest condolences to his family.
