Not sure what to say?

DOUG WAS THE BEST, HE WORKED SO HARD AT WHATEVER PROJECT HE TOOK ON. WAS A TRUE FRIEND AND GENTLEMAN. OUR THOUGHTS, PRAYERS AND LOVE GO OUT TO LINDA AND FAMILY.
JIM AND LINDA HARRISON

Linda and Family my condolences to you on the passing of Doug I have never met a person that could speak so well that people were entertained just listening!! I had a great time with Doug on the board of appeals in Indio and coachella, he will be miss by myself and so many other friends of the valley!!

Doug was such a fine friend, gentleman, servant, volunteer & leader and truly among the best examples of community & public service that I have ever known. A real joy to know, serve with and be friends. I will always look up to him & remember him. A good man.

He was amazing as a friend, mentor, and board member of the Coachella Valley History Museum, he will be so missed, what a loss.

Broke my heart when I found out the news Douglas was one of my favorite patients He was such a kindhearted person always had a smile on his face and my condolences to mrs Linda and her daughter whom I’ve meet also a very sweet person may god bless his family

Doug's sense of humor and propensity to tell tasteful jokes at the dinner table or at a restaurant went a long way in breaking the ice. He also helped me understand where the water goes in the Coachella Valley and who "owns" it, important background for writing my book Birds of the Whitewater River. He and Linda were/are true pillars of the greater Indio community. I am blessed to have known them, if only for 15 years. Bob Ross, volunteer, Coachella Valley Wild Bird Center.

I’ve been lucky enough to be friends with the York’s for 50 years.they were like my second family growing up. We worked, hiked, raced, canoed, camped, drank great wine, and smoked a few cigars (well maybe more than a few).
Doug was a mentor for me in life and business. I am a better person for having known him.

Linda and family, Jim and I just learned of Doug’s passing. We are so very sorry and send our deepest sympathy. We have so many special memories of time spent with you and Doug. We love our group of friends which will always be known as the “Posse”. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. With love, Jim and Ginger

Oh, my....what’s to say? Doug and Linda lived across the street from my family. We used to joke that they did their lawn with manicure scissors. Wonderful, wonderful people.
