Not sure what to say?

I knew Doug a hundred years ago or so it seems ... God be with his family Julie Ballard

I am sad beyond words. I just found out Saturday that Doug Passed away. All I can say is I loved him very much. He was such a beautiful person. He was such a fantastic musician. He was an even more fantastic husband, father and grand father. I will never forget him.

With my band years ago I needed a lead guitar player! Doug entered the picture. First song he did for my band we realized that we not only had a monster guitar player, but a great singer also! A master of his craft! A humble musician that just wanted it right! We lost him when his old band wanted to regroup! On occasion I would stop and visit! My memories of Doug always bring a smile to my face! Maybe everyone that knew Doug and remember him will smile with me!

So sorry to hear about Doug. I played in a band with him years ago called Kokomo. He was more than a band mate, he was a true friend. I rest knowing he´s in a better place.

I didn´t know Doug, but reading your beautiful, heartfelt tribute to him, I wish I had. I will play the Beatles today in his honor. So sorry for the loss of someone so influential in your lives. Find peace in the love you shared. You will always have that

So Sorry for Dougs departure from this Earth. To many of my Cousins are leaving to young. Love & Hugs to All

Sincerely sorry for your loss, but happy to read about all your good memories.

My condolences to your family. I knew Doug from high school. Nice guy and I am glad to have known him. Take care.

Doug, Thanks for the awesome childhood! I always saw you as a positive role model in my life and I´m sad to hear of your passing. Your home was always full of music, art, singing (lots of opera for some reason), and sincere conversations. If you hadn´t introduced me to Mahavishnu Orchestra, I would have missed out on so many hours listening to The Lost Trident Sessions and Birds of Fire over the years. I also want to thank you for all the Hot `n Now, Mountain Dew, and lunches at local...
