Doxie was born on July 26, 1932 and passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held on November 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Sherman, Hutchinson, KS, with Reverend John Chastain presiding. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home at 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
I met Doxie at the Decorative Arts convention in Nashville. She was so sweet, kind and wore the brightest smile ever. It was such a pleasure to meet her.

I was honoured to know Doxie through the painting community. I will always cherish the time we had in Moncton NB where she and Les spent a few days sightseeing with us. I wear my 'Doxie' shirt this week in remembrance of you! You will be missed Doxie
