Not sure what to say?

Dr and Mrs C and Mrs. Cartrett, I am saddened by your loss, I did not know you were suffering Dr. C. I am so sorry. I am glad I had an apt with you today so that I could find out this sad news and leave words of comfort for you and your family. looking at your father's face, I can see he was a gentle spirit and was very loved, he looks over qualified for his new angel title. I am sure he will wear his new badge with honor. I hope he finds my beloved Jacob up there. I think the world of you...

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. I GREW UP WITH DOYCE AND HAVE SOME GOOD MEMORIES. WE HUNG AN OLD TIRE FROM A TREE LIMB IN HIS BACK YARD. HE WOULD PITCH HIS BASEBALL THRU THE HOLE IN THE TIRE TO PERFECT HIS CONTROL. HE LOVED BASEBALL AND WANTED TO PITCH IN THE MAJORS. I ALSO WORKED WITH HIM AT THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT. WE PLAYED ON THE SOFTBALL TEAM TOGETHER. HE WILL BE REMEMBERED BY MANY FOLKS.

I did not know the deceased , but would like to send words of sympathy to Dr. Cartrett. You have my sincere sympathy and deepest prayers during this time. earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Amos Horton (San Augustine , Tx.)

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Cartrett family,
I was in the same grade with Doyce, and he and I and Delmar Colleps were the best of friends. Doyce showed great character even in his childhood. I had a great respect for him. I never knew him to do anything wrong. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember him

My sympathy to all his family.

Mr. Cartrett will be missed by all who knew him. His bright smile and encouraging words warmed the hearts and lives of many friends.

This is such a shock to me. I did not know that Mr. Cartrett was sick. I bought some land from him one year ago. He was such a nice person and I always hoped that he was coming by to see that I was keeping up the land because it was a place that held lots of memories for him. The pine trees that his father planted when he was small still stand. I am praying for you Mrs. Joyce and your family. He was such a special man with a great spirit. I thank God that I happened upon his obituary. ...
