Doyle James Bailey

My name is Adamae Rochelle (White) Raper. We lived in Doyles house in double springs when I was a girl. I looked up to Doyle and Ann as well as his parents and brothers, they were always so sweet to use, and I loved living in his house. He was the most generous man I ever met and really cared about people. One thing I loved was that when he told you something and shook your hand you could depend on his word, you don't find many people like that. I'm glad he's at peace with Ann now in heaven.

A message for James - This is Ralph Heusinger (Class of '79 from HHS). I came upon your father's obituary and when i realized he was your father, I reminisced about a time period around 1975 and / or 1976 where you and I played a lot of driveway basketball across the street from you (on corner of Tel-Fair and Watts). I had met your parents briefly around that time, but that was really the only regular connection we had other than being at HHS at the same time. Anyway, that was 48-49 years...
