Doyle was born on July 28, 1952 in Rugby, ND to Bernard and Marjorie (Hillestad) Beck. Doyle graduated from Wolford High School in 1972 and then went to Florida. He returned in 1973 and worked as a security guard at a missile site near Nekoma, ND and a farm laborer. He then worked for DePlazes Redi-Mix and drove truck for Elvin Slaubaugh Trucking until he retired.  In Wolford, Doyle was a member of the City Council, the Wildlife Club and the Volunteer Fire Department.  He loved to hunt mule deer with is brothers and nephews in the Badlands, and fish and hunt locally. Doyle was known for funny one-liners, which he shared with everyone, and especially made his nieces and nephews laugh!  Doyle will be missed for many reasons, especially his laugh and sense of humor, the twinkle in his eyes and his soft heart.
