Not sure what to say?

Doyle was my teacher and mentor in psychiatry as well as being a family friend. He was smart, kind and compassionate. Most of what I know of inpatient psychiatry I learned from him. I have a photo on my shelf taken by Sarah of my wife and daughter. I last saw him in 2019 when he and Sarah drove to Galveston to see me get an award in Psychiatry. An honor to have him there. Every New Year´s Day he would have all the doctors to his house for pancakes. I played basketball with him for years! A...

Sending my Love to you, Sally, as the service for Doyle begins today. I have always held Doyle in high regards throughout all these many years. The big gifts came from both your smiles! May God continue to Bless and Comfort you and family! Nancy Noret Moore 4:17pm September 26, 2024

. I knew Dr. Carson before I met him, and an extremely pleasant person he was and always will be. Mrs. Carson (Mom), you are an amazing woman. May GOD continue to cover you and your family. Not just during this difficult time, but during all times. I love you all. Thanks to my beautiful friend, you all have become my family. GOD BLESS you. Shirley

I was saddened when Krysla informed me of Doyle´s death recently. I think we both thought that "we´d always have Dr. Carson around." In our minds he was invincible. Doyle mentored me early in my career as a young therapist at Garland Community Hospital. He was never too busy to take extra time to offer education & answer my questions about psychology & psychiatry, running a practice & life as a whole. We had a relationship of trust & respect, both always wanting what was in the best...

I was a Psych RN with Dr. Carson at Timberlawn, Garland Community and Green Oaks McKinney. Dr Carson was also a tennis player and I remember him inviting me, Dr. Conway McDanald and the principal from the Timberlawn school to play doubles at the Highland Park indoor tennis center. The highest compliment I can give Dr. Carson is- he was a good guy. He worked so well with me and all the other staff and patients he worked with. Take care Dr. Carson. Take care.

Doyle was a beloved mentor, physician, and friend. He will be greatly missed! Krysla Karlix Garduno

To the Carson Family: I am sorry to hear of Doyle´s passing. We worked together at Timberlawn for many years. He was a good leader during good times and hard times. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh. I know you will miss him terribly. He talked proudly of his family. I have kept up with him over the years with Frances.
