Not sure what to say?

Our condolences. We just came to realize the passing of D.R. We met him a couple of years ago, when we were selling an old fridge. He came down to ask if we would bring it up to him. He had no need for it really. I think he wanted something to play with to stay busy. We refused his money and brought him all the 'scrap' that he could handle and wanted. We used to love watching him and Mrs. walk the neighborhood.
He has been missed and we will forever think of him and Mrs every day when...

Mr. Mitchell was a wonderful Christian man. He had a very loving and kind heart. He meant so very much to our family. We were so fortunate to have known such a godly man. I know he is rejoicing with my dad in heaven today. God bless and comfort you all.

Doylene,
I am very sorry about the passing of your father. He is a fine, Christian man, plus an excellent example to the kids at Ridgecrest Baptist in the 60's and 70's. When my husband and I bought our first house in 1981, your father sold us two window A/C units that were still working the day we moved out in 1985. I know now he sold the units to us at a loss. And helped two young people get a good start in setting up their first household. We will never forget his generosity.

Doylene and Gordon,
Uncle Ray is a special person in my heart. When I moved to Ft. Worth to work for Harbison-Fischer, I had wrecked my car. Uncle Ray and Aunt Allene had me move in with them and got me to and from work. Uncle Ray took time to help me find another car and I stayed with them until I saved enough money to get out on my own with out the hardship of being broke.
Uncle Ray helped Dad, all during his illness and we as a family cann't express how much his love and care...

D.R., I know there's an internet in heaven and I just wanted to tell you that working with you on the loading dock at Swift's Edible Oil was a ball. You were one special guy and since we share the same last name, I called you 'dad' after my own father passed in 75'. I'm confident that heaven is a happier place now that your pleasant smile and demeanor are with those that have passed on before us. God bless your family and the legions of friends you leave behind. Your "old hippie"...

Hi Doylene, I am very sorry for the passing of your father. I remember how hard that is to bear. My thoughts are with you today.

I just want you to know that you have always been one of my all-time favorite students at Haltom High School though I taught for 41 years.

Sometimes if you have time. give me a call to let me know how you are doing. My cell number is 682-465-6581.

Allieen, I am so sorry to here about Doyle. I will always remember you and him going with us to eat at the Wild Onion outside of Mineral Wells. Our thoughts of you and the family will be with you. Kathye and Lee plus your friends at Dan Echols Senior Center.

As a neighbor, Mr. Mitchell was always a friendly face. He had so much patience walking with his wife in the neighborhood. I will miss his smile and his wave from across the street.

Doylene, Jerre, and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Our dad is such a special person in our life and the love and memories you have of your dad will always be with you. My love to you all. Fran Travis
