Not sure what to say?

i am very sorry to hear about your dads' passing from this life. I know he was loved by you and my sympathy to you elizabeth and all your family. "does it take a death to learn what a life is worth?"

The best man, the best person, the best doctor. It has been over 20 years since I've last had contact with Dr. Barrett and it seems like yesterday. He was the pediatrician for me and my nine brothers and sisters and up until he retired he was the pediatrician for my own two boys. I have missed him but have never forgotten his kindness, gentleness and love he shared with my family. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Dear Margie and family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I know that your memories will be a blessing.

Sincerely,

Susan, Mark, Greg and Jonny Gatti

Ahhhh, the wonderful tributes to the marvelous Dr. Barrett.
I cannot claim him as my pediatrician, but I can claim him as the camp Dr. at Cragged Mountain Farm, Freedom NH.
First knowing his children, Charlie, Margie, Betsy and Bill was a complete WOW. Instant and long time love of them has ensued ever since. It is a tribute to the man, a man larger than life, a man with humor that echoed from the mountains, that his children would be so special. I will add Allie to the list,...

The imprint he left on all with whom he came in contact is immeasurable. Colleages, patients and friends will always carry a part of Dr. Barrett with us.

I will miss the encouragement and advice he gave me over the years.

I will miss seeing him sitting in his car watching the Brown football games.

My condolences to the Barrett family and my thanks for sharing John with all of us.

My deepest sympathy to the Barrett family on such a great loss of such a wonderful man. I was 17 the day I walked into his office with a new baby. He never judged me and took me under his wing to do his best to help me become a new mother. Through my next two babies, after my life became normal he was always there. He was an angel in my families life and we will never forget him.

We are thinking of you all..you're in our prayers...and may your memories be your comfort.

I would like to extend my sympathy to the Barrett family. I worked for Dr. Utter and came to know Dr. Barrett quite well. He was such a wonderful person and I feel very lucky to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I am just smiling at the fond memories and the insights of familiar strangers as I don't know most of you.
I must have been in my early teens when in the last house visit from him, he informed my mother that I had the "kissing disease" ! Neither I but especially my mother liked the sound of that. Luckily for me he smoothed things over before he left!
Margie and I reconnected these last few years and by that I have had the pleasure of spending some time at Medway that I am so...
