Thinking of Jerry and all the good times we had together as we were both neighbors and crewmembers together at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. We spent many alerts together discussing so many different subjects it's hard to say which ones were the most interesting, but most discussions included current affairs and the political situations surrounding them. I heard only a week ago about Jerry's passing. I would have traveled to the service had I known. I have a good notion of your experience. I assure you that things get better. I think of Margaret every day, but now more in love than in sorrow. I wish you and your family the best. You and Jerry were, and are, special friends. I would love to hear from you. I am sorry I never got a chance to know you, Dr. Hampton. I am enrolled in your online Fall 2014 marketing 303 course. It sounds like you had a wonderful life and true passion for teaching. Thank you for your service to our country as well (I'm an Army civilian myself.).
