To Mr. Choe and family. May god take care of you and rest her soul in peace. Praying for you all during this difficult time and sending much love. She was a kind and vibrant woman and she was so strong.

I am stunned by the loss of Hae Mi. I've had the pleasure of being on the same CDC workgroup as her, we had numerous conversations as she developed her hypertension program. I was always impressed by her kindness, brilliance, energy, and collaborative nature. I only found out about her passing because I was about to reach out to her again. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, her work will have an enduring impact on countless lives.

Dr. Choe was an amazing professor and inspired me to pursue ambulatory care pharmacy. It took for me to get there but I never forgot the way she inspired all of us to always do what is best for the patients. I´m now in a role where I can advocate for the role clinical pharmacists play in the care of patients and I´m so grateful for all that I learned from Dr. Choe. Her spirit and teachings will live on through all the students she taught. She will be missed.

Hae Mi and I crossed paths periodically throughout my career and I am not over stating when I say she had a huge influence on how so many of us view healthcare and prioritize the total health of our community. Working with Hae Mi was such a joy in that everything she did was meaningful, everyone she worked with was respected and supported. I will always strive to approach my work and my relationships with the sense of purpose and respect I observed in Hae Mi. She will be so missed.

I worked with Hae Mi many years ago but she left an incredible impression on me as a nurse. She was always so kind and positive. I have seen her name "float" around MM throughout the years and would think about her from time to time. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful person.
