Not sure what to say?

What a great, gentle man. Delivered my first two kids, 1968 and 1971 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Worked with my Dad, Ed Gibbs, at Wilford Hall Hospital at Lackland AFB in the mid 60s to help start the Air Force's residency training program in OBGYN. He will continue to be missed and loved.

I´m so sorry to hear Dr Boldt has passed away. I have good memories of him, and how kind and smart he was. My condolences to the family.

Mrs. Boldt, Robert, Kim, and Kristine, my heart felt condolences to you and your family. I am sorry that I am only now learning Dr. Boldt´s passing. Thank you all for the kindness your family offered. Dr. Boldt introduced me to hunting many years ago, a sport that I loved from the beginning, he was there when I took my first deer. I spoke of him often to my son as I introduced him to hunting, passing on the lessons I had learned from Dr. Boldt, along with the knife he gave me after that...

He was one of the best Doctors I ever had. He delivered my twin boys , they were over 7 lbs a piece back in 1968. I was his patient tell he stopped practicing. I just loved him. A great person he was!

Dr Boldt was the best of the best.

May God bless you and your dear family in this time of sorrow. Love & Light.

I worked for the Methodist healthcare system for 45 years, 7 of those years in the GYN surgical floor, Dr. Boldt was professional and compassionate not only to patients but the nursing staff as well. He also had a great sense of humor and I have great memories of being part of a great health team. He has seen the face of God. Dr. John Boldt and his family remain in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. John Boldt was a true friend of the Tolar family He was unfailingly kind, even coming to my house when I experienced pains and discomfort. He swam with the Tolar boys and maintained a lifelong friendship. He made a huge impact on San Antonio.

Dr Boldt was a treasure to this community. His dedication in training hundreds of healthcare professionals will leave an everlasting footprint on Texas and our nation. I knew Dr Boldt as a policy maker and as a mother of one of his students. They adored him.
It was my honor to present a Senate Proclamation at the State Capitol upon his deserved retirement. Colleagues from around the state gathered to pay tribute to Dr Boldt.
I met so many family and friends at his reception...
