Rip was my science Olympiad partner at Stagg High School. We were in the same biology class and our teacher was Janet Dock. Those were great memories for me. Rest in peace Rip

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Played water polo with Rip in high school. He was loved by everyone. RIP buddy

I swam and played water polo with and against Rip as a young adult. I am very saddened to hear this. I considered Rip to be what was recently coined a 'unicorn' (a mythical creature). He was such a rare type of human, who not only excelled at everything and had achieved so much... He was so nice and kind to everyone. I was a patient of Dr.Rick Waters for the last 5 years after my 5x “cabbage” in 2017. I appreciated having him serve the rural community at Dignity Mark Twain in San Andreas. He will be missed
I always looked forward to my visits with him.
Condolences to Dr Erica Waters and family. Your Husband & Father was a good man.

We want to let your family know that Dr. Waters was not only our cardiologist but the most caring person, we knew that we had the best care with him. He was my mother's (Wilma Smith), my daughter's (Kala Peterson),myself (Linda Hampton), and just recently my daughter (Kimberly Caffese). We will all have a place in our hearts and know that he is with our Father in Heaven. He was very special and I pray that the Lord gives your family strength through this difficult time. Bless you all, Linda...

Rip coached my kids on the Blue Dolphin swim team many years ago. We all loved him. When I needed a cardiologist a few years ago I went to see him. He was still a wonderful person and I wanted him to care for me. He will be missed by me and my family. Prayers to his family
