Yesterday, after receiving the news of Dr. Salgar's passing, my friends and I exchanged our favorite Dr. Salgar stories. Everytime I saw him he greeted me with a smile and a quip. He had uncommon insight and intelligence. A conversation with him was a gift. He was a very special person.
