Not sure what to say?

I will never hear “Hello, I’m Doctor Andrew Risner.” again. The time we spent at an Army hospital in El Paso TX helped me realize how strong a Veteran to Veteran bond can be. We always shared stories of our experiences, but I was not prepared to experience his loss. I texted him six months ago after a long hiatus on my part. I’m glad I was honest in my last words.

So sorry to hear this sad news. RIP. Enjoyed working with Dr. Risner in IN.

I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with Dr. Risner at Lakewood. He was just a great person and I knew we would have great shift when he would come in. I can still hear his laugh. He loved to talk about his inventions and his beloved Milo. He will be missed, my condolences to the family.

Dr Risner taught me SO much. He was such a pleasure to work with. Such a smart, sensitive. He is missed!!

Had the pleasure of working with Dr. Risner at both Venice and Lakewood. Loved working with him, such a caring and passionate physician. I am proud to have met and worked alongside him for many years. Thank you so much for being a mentor and a friend. You will be sorely missed. My condolences to the family.
