Not sure what to say?

45 years since I "reported" to UTMB as a resident and began training under Dr. Gaston. 45 years later still being patients and practicing what he taught me. I mentioned some of his teaching methods to a student of mine just last week. His generation of Psychologists is now passing rapidly, and is greatly missed.

Thinking of my professor on the anniversary of his passing. I often remember our times reviewing psychological testing reports. He had all of the students memorize all of the testing instructions. Bless you, Charles

I was one of Dr. Gaston's students as I did my residency at UTMB in 1976-1976. He was an excellent teacher, and instructed me the most in evaluating psychiatry inpatients at UTMB. A kind and thorough professor, I have nothing but good memories of my professor. Good memories of the times we had seminars at his beach house on Bolivar peninsula. We would often ride the ferry over to Bolivar just for a sea trip. He is missed.

May the LORD bless you and guard you
