May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

Delores will always be "Tidlum" to me. We grew up together in Valley Head, Alabama and it was always a pleasure to be in her company. I will always remember her as a good and faithful Valley Head Tiger Cheerleader and a terrific athlete to boot. All of us old Tigers mourn her loss.

Got to know Doc when I was a student at GW around 35 years ago. When I would visit campus in the years since, I would always feel like my visit was complete when I would see her and/or Dr. Eastman. She will be missed, she wore so many hats at the school but the best one was of someone who cared enough to tell the truth and hold you accountable. Loved her.

Dr Hunt was such a big influence on my life. Somehow she helped me know myself better. I will always treasure the time I and my classmates had with her from 1978 to 1980. I am so saddened to learn of her passing. She was definitely a very special person

Dr.Dee Hunt was such a great leader to students and help me find my place at the University where I can thrive!

Dr. Dee Hunt was my colleague at Gardner-Webb University for decades. She was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever known.

She was greatly respected and loved both by the students and by the faculty and staff.

She was involved in so many things. She was greatly dedicated to her profession.
