Dear Diana, I just found out and am so sorry! I did not receive our annual Christmas card exchange and missed our holiday conversation that took all day! I shall miss you so much. Your friend and St. Margaret's classmate, Ann Dougherty Goodman (Suzanne) You were truly amazing!

I have many memories of Dr Carr.... lunches at her house while her employee many years ago, her generosity and love of children, and her pets....working with her at the Surgical Center (again, many years ago)
She was a strong advocate for her patients on the Head Injury Unit at Hardee Memorial, in the early 80s. That is my first memory of her, and how I will remember her always. Rest In Peace, Dr Carr, you have earned it.

I worked with Dr. Carr for over 20 years . I knew all sides of her but I would like to share the high points . She was a smart lady . She knew about so many things . She had a passion for reading . If she wasnt working ,or cooking or at the movies or a play ,she had her nose in a book . She loved her animals . They were one of her favorite subjects . She knew how to cook just about anything and made us all sangria every Christmas . She shared many recipes with me . She walked to the beat of...

Diana and I met as first year medical students in 1971. She was a great friend as well as a talented and compassionate physician. She taught me how to make chicken tetrazzini and I taught her how to bake bread. She crocheted my first born son a beautiful outfit appropriate for baptism. More recently Diana helped our family thru a spinal cord injury with info & moral support. Prayers and blessings to her family, friends and patients.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
She was a Gifted Colleague. She will be missed.
I am sorry for your loss.
