Not sure what to say?

Coach and Family, We were so saddened to hear about Coach's recent illness and passing. His coaching, insight into leadership, and performance was extremely special to me in my life. We had the opportunity to reconnect recently and enjoyed our "coffee times" in Cle Elum, and of course the stories from the days at CWSC and CWU. We wish everyone in the family the best in the challenging times ahead. Please take care. Jim and Rebecca Busey

Gary Frederick was my football coach and teacher at central kitsap high school. He let me play inside tackle my junior and senior year on offensive line and play defensive tackle. Always encouraged us and taught us how to play. We won most of our games and for the players a true highlight of our lives. Thank you coach Frederick and may you know we all appreciated you. Rest in peace coach. You helped us all become better men

I didn't know it then, but learned later in life how men like Gary impacted people like me. His willingness to create positive environments for young athletes to grow and mature was incredible. Gary had a way. His impact will surely live on in...

Gary was a great coach, mentor and role model for our daughter, Mallory Holtman. He was such a caring and supportive human. He was wonderful with parents too. He will be greatly missed. He was well loved. We wish we could thank him again for all he did for our daughter.
