Dr. Glenn C. Krug, DO

Rock Island, Illinois Dr. Glenn C. Krug, D.O., 63, a resident of Rock Island, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Peoria, Illinois after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Halligan – McCabe – DeVries Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Glenn Charles Krug was born June 17, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a son of Charles Karl and Bernadette June (Tusack) Krug. He attended Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont; and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia; and completed his residency at Doctor's Hospital in Obstetrics. Dr. Krug practiced in Davenport for many years. Following his retirement he became a host at O'Melia's, Rock Island. Glenn received great comfort working at O'Melia's, where he established many friendships and acquaintances in a casual and calming atmosphere. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include children, Jarrod (Mindy) Krug, Davenport; Evan Krug, Bettendorf; and Dr. Aubrey Krug, Marietta, Oklahoma; and his beloved mother, Bernadette Krug, Davenport.
