Not sure what to say?

I knew Dr. Neer when I taught at NSU-COM and for the past year or so I would see him almost everyday on my way to see patients in the facility where he resided. He was the penultimate gentleman, always with a smile and a wave. I will miss seeing his smiling face. Rest in peace.

A great man, a leader in our Osteopathic profession, a visionary in Broward County, FOMA, and the AOA. He was a great friend to my father, supported my efforts to follow in my father's footsteps at CCOM and our Osteopathic family. He lived a life on honor, faith, and love! Peace to Mrs. Neer and his family.

Playing pool in the garage as a teenager. Doc was very good - seldom beatable! Pickles and braunschweiger.
Jumping the backyard fence and sprinting into the swimming pool before Duke caught you.
Quiet time in the house - Howard was napping.
Countless weekends in the Keys. Doc at the helm of the Bertram.
Tall, lean, and always in the baby blue bathing suit watching for the outriggers to pop.
The Cabana Club - giving me my first job and best years of my life living with Cindy...

What a wonderful man in all ways possible. So very generous even to those he barely knew. Howard will be greatly missed. What an awesome legacy! God Bless the family and we know Howard is rejoicing.....and teaching and doctoring.... in Heaven and paving the way until we all meet again.
Remembering the fun times in the Florida Keys. He loved his slice of paradise!
We Love you all! The Slama Family

I always enjoyed the times I was in Dr Neer's company. He was an individual who could gain your respect easily. His gentle manner served him and his patients well. My sincere condolences to the entire Neer family.

DR Howard Neer, a great professional and academic administrator, will always be remembered as a kind , knowledgeable gentleman. Condolences to the family and dear friends. Dr. Fred Lippman and Bonnie Lippman.

I was blessed to meet Dr. Neer when i first moved to Ft Lauderdale and began working for the Broward County Medical Association. He always remembered my name and treated me with kindness. What a great man. May he now rest in peace. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. Cynthia Peterson, CEO, Broward County Medical Association

My condolences. There are not many words at a time like this, but we can pour out our hearts to God, whom is a refuge for us.

What I would say is that Dr Neer (and Mrs Neer) were truly special people. Personally, Dr Neer was very supportive...encouraging me to pursue being a physician. Kinda maybe felt that would never really happen...lol. I am forever grateful for them taking us to the florida keys (my first time there), and showing us what a great family time it was for everyone. Ive continued enjoying that countless times with family and friends. Mostly though, I remember how their home was open to all...
