Dear Dr. Prince-Barnett:
You are in my thoughts and prayers. "Since by man came death; Since by man came death. By man came also the Resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die; For as in Adam all die." from HANDEL'S MESSIAH. I informed Dr. Liston's daughter, Marva and your student, Mr. Bernard Edmonds. I am available if you need me. I may be reached at (336) 723-7101 early mornings or late nights.

Dear Dr. Barnett and family,
I remember Dr. Barnett as a committed professional educator and one of the kindest persons I have known. I remember working with him with a group of students from Rutgers University, which was a very enlightening and educational experience for me. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish for you the Supreme Intelligent's most abundant blessings.
Sincerely,
Lugenia Rochelle, Chair

Dr. Barnett,
I met your husband in Price Hall during the 1980's. He often shared the wonders of the Occupational Safety and Health program and how I should change my major. What a visionary he was who foresaw the importance of OSH and the role it would play in society!
Dr. Barnett and I were from the same neck of the woods (Halifax County and Danville) and he called me Homegirl. He remembered my name when I saw him some years later at Homecoming.
He is a wonderful example of...

Dr. Barnett was a long time friend of my late uncle, Dr. Lewis E. Barbee. I remember meeting him and the impression he left with me to further my education and to do something great in the world. I will not forget the day I last saw him at the Proctor Hall building dedication and how shocked I was that he remembered me. I know he and my uncle are having a glorious time praising God in heaven. My condolences to the family and I pray God strengthens you during this time.
