Dr. Blaha was an angel on earth and will be sorely missed. She had healing powers that she didn't even know she had. When my dogs were sick I would ask her to come out and touch them so I would know they would be ok. Dr. Blaha took care of my cats in my home for over 10 years. One cat was so temperamental, three other vets wouldn't treat him, but Dr. Blaha didn't mind a bit that her arms would be all scratched up after Shadow's exam!! She actually got a kick out of him and during his last months, tried everything she could think of to help him.

I just found out that Dr Blaha passed away. I am so sorry! Joanne and I attended high school together and reunited when she became a Veterinarian. She was a warm, kind, smart, determined woman! She was my Vet for many years. She also served at many Animal rescues over the years. She was very proud to help with the care of animals for homebound and assisted living facilities. She was an angel to all those people and their animals that needed care. Joanne you were one special lady!!

Today I found out that Dr. Blaha passed away. Words can't describe the heaviness I feel. Dr. Blaha was truly an Angel on Earth and I feel so lucky to have known her. I just tried to contact Dr. Blaha to see if she could help me with my cat that she took care of when I adopted her. She was a wonderful Vet I will miss you so much I’m sorry to see that she has passed away RIP

She treated our dogs in our home several times, helped us say goodbye to a best friend, and gave us solace. She was a wonderful person, the best kind of person.

Jo Anne made veterinary house calls, I was fortunate to meet her this way. She was an ardent and compassionate vet. It was because of her teachings that I first learned of holistic animal care & health. I’m sorry for the loss, but grateful to have known such a wonderful human being.
