On Wednesday, July 17th at Riverside Reginal Medical Center, Newport News, Virginia God called home our beloved sister, cousin, godmother, and friend: JoAnn McCleod. JoAnn was born on April 15, 1967 in Germany to the late Whit and Maggie Lee McCleod. She received her formal education in Hampton City School System. JoAnn was an active member of New Life Church, where she sang in the Mass Choir, Cornerstone Assembly of God Church; and Devine Concept Group. She had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard.

Joann IS a woman of God whose light shined everywhere she went. She was our first Web Designer at New Life Church. We quickly realized JoAnn set a standard for perfection. JoAnn was instrumental in bringing “Operation Christmas Child” An Organization that ensured children all over the world were blessed with a Christmas gift. This Organization ensured the gospel is spread throughout the world. JoAnn was an integral part of our Ensemble Worship Team at NLC for many years. She loved everyone....
