Not sure what to say?

I'm so saddened by the news of JoAnn's transition I didn't know until today my heart's blessings to the family and her ministry....I had got with her to assist me in some personal issues. We were to get started in the latter part of July but I got sidetracked she was very pleasant and encouraging. We met through a mutual friend.❤❤❤

I just received news of JoAnn. Just plain sweet JoAnn. We went to Geo.Washington Carver Hi together. She will truly be missed. We met up later in life thru Ministry & Praise Dance. I also am a praise dance teacher. Love you JoAnn-Dr. Rush.
May The Rush family truly depend on God to keep you-strengthen you-hold you-encourage you-rock you in his arms-lead you all the way.
From Minister Carol Green Lane.

On behalf of the Dr. JoAnn Vallie Rush Family, thank each and every one of you for your kind, considerate, caring & comforting words and deeds of compassionate concern for me and my Family!
These are challenging times made easier by the true love & support of dear Family and Friends like you!
We know JoAnn is in a better place, but we do miss her laughter, love, lady-likeness, leadership and listening ear on this side!
Please continue to keep us in prayer!
We love &...

Jo Ann you were a dear and lovely classmate and friend of us . The G. W. Carver Class of 1971. You attended some of our class reunion meetings and we were blown away to hear of your death. We will always remember you and what you produced on this earth. Jehovah God looked in his garden and saw someone missing and he chose you. To all God be the Glory. All condolence to family.

To my dearest friend, Bishop Frank Rush,

I lift you, your children, and entire family in prayer as you journey through the next phase of life. May the memory of your beautiful wife JoAnn, whose Spirit-filled grace will last forever in your hearts, be a comfort in times to come. My privilege was to have met her; but you are blessed to have known her through a Love that only God blessed you to share. May our Father forever bless your entire family.

Beverly Coleman...

She was a trail blazer, one of the 1st people of color, who became a news icon. She was a regular on channel 2's,KPRC.I watch her as a youngster.I met her husband whom,i enjoyed chatting with.He was a regular at our Randalls on Antoine and Victory.

Our prayers are with the family of Sis Rush, and we’re believing God for His guidance during these trying times.Stay strong Bishop in the Lord and remember that God is still on the throne. Much Love my brother, a friend from your TSU freshman study days.

I never met this lovely lady, but I certainly knew the name. It was impossible to live in the Houston area, and not have heard the name. May God bless the family in this time of sorrow.

Frank & Rush Family
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
I worked with JoAnn for many years at KPRC-TV2.(Producer/editor for her TODAY SHOW cut ins & early morning newscasts.) I celebrate memories of her STRONG WILL, DEDICATION & PURPOSE DRIVEN INSIGHT.
