Not sure what to say?

I never really got to say thank you as much as I would have liked to. You were the only one who really listened to me when others wouldn't and in truth guided me towards my path even though I did not see it myself. You will be missed on this earth but know that you are now creating your piece of heaven.

John Matt: You helped me so much during a crisis in my lfe and I will always remember you fondly. May you rest in peace, dear friend.

Earl's poem/song: The Mockingbird Little Mockingbird that is the sweetest song I have ever heard. What song are you singing little Mockingbird I asked the Owl and I asked the Crow they both told me they did not know. Tell me what song you are singing little Mockingbird
Fare well JM you won't leave. you are with me. you know the song. JCA

I met Earl Johnson, a musician/guitarist to become friend and mentor to me, and his wife Marie, in 1972. John Matt came into my life in 1976. We became family in music and in life. JM became Godfather to both our children and loved them as his own. Earl, Marie, my own mother, and my nanny Juliane often sheltered him when he needed it in the storms of life. He gave tons of love in return.Earl's sister Erma recently a little poem in Earl wrote. I will quote it exactly as written. JCA

John Matt was an inspired and dedicated family friend, with an artistic eye and a sharp mind that I had the pleasure of appreciating in person. He lended his photographic talents for my college graduation, and shared his diverse view of the world with me many times. He will be greatly missed by us all.

I worked with Dr. Dorn at Marshall Pickens in the 1980's. He always had such empathy for his patients and also his co-workers. He was truly a unique person. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May Gods light shine on his family and loved ones at this dark time.

Matt and I went through Junior High and High School together...the smartest guy in our class! I remember his big smile and that walk of his not to be forgotten. He was a great guy. I pray God will give his loved ones peace and strength.

John Matt was a treasured family friend, godfather, and mentor. He made himself available to me as though I were family, and consistently treated me with respect and care. John will be missed dearly.

I remember Matt well from high school and Junior High School. He was always smiling and kind to all. My prayers are with his family. May God Bless and carry you through this difficult time.
