RIP grandpa Guidry

Dr. Guidry was my friend and mentor. I worked with him at LGMC starting in 1970 when he and Dr. Happy Davis started the cardiac cath lab and the open heart surgery program at LGMC. Dr. Guidry encouraged and supported me over the years.

I had the honor of being his daughter in law for a time and mother to one of his grandchildren, Brian Guidry.I respected him and loved him wholeheartedly. The world lost a wonderful man but Heaven gained an angel!

I had the pleasure of knowing the man for 40 years. RIP

Les was my dear brother in law.
His professional and personal attention to my mother, father and grandmother when they were ill, is to never be forgotten.
My husband and I traveled in France with them. A wonderful trip . I have a photo of us framed at my travel agency.
My husband made a gulf crossing with them when they first started sailing. Again, great time and they all agreed that it was great that I was not with them...
We loved him and will miss him .

A gentle man with a powerful intellect.

Loved this man, he was one of a kind. Lots of fun times...you will be missed Les Guidry. We love you, prayers go out to Nancy and the family

Have a lot of good memories of when it was fun to work at LGMC, all those SP cases and playing tennis. SO sorry for your loss Nancy, we will all miss him.
