She was a wonderful and "fun" classmate of the JHH Class of 1963. Always had a smile on her face. Beloved by all who knew her and will be missed by all. You made us proud...rest peacefully, Lou......

As a proud graduate of the first MSN in education class ('82) at Villanova, I remember Dean Fitzpatrick so fondly, and she stood as a role model for us all. She has left an incredible legacy of well-educated nurses who have spread her knowledge, compassion, and thirst for excellence throughout the world. Thank you Dean Fitzpatrick, for all that you have done for humanity!

Dr. Fitzpatrick was not only involved in her Nursing students' lives, she had a concern for the families' of her students.

She approached our family when scholarships became available to let us know how to apply.

She wanted the best opportunities for the students - getting them to world wide mission work to understand how to fully use their passion to care for the well being of others - whether it was in Nicaragua, South Africa or nearby in Philadelphia.

It was our privilege to know Louise. May her light shine on.
