Not sure what to say?

Heather, George, Carter and Lindsey, so sorry for the loss of your Mama and Grandmama. Always enjoyed seeing her (and you!) at our annual family gatherings. Wish you peace and comfort at this time. Rejoice in her memory and that she will no longer have any earthly pain. I'm sure she is celebrating in Heaven with all of her loved ones.

Mary Frances hired me to teach in Hampton in 1972. She was engaging, fun to work with or just to be around. She was such a special person with so many gifts to share with the world. She left this world a better place for the happiness, wisdom, and enthusiasm she shared so freely. We've lost great lady. Peace.

Dr Briley (Dr B to me) was a blessing to all. To speak with her, one would never guess she held PhD in Education because she made all she spoke with feel as educated & needed as she herself was❤ She could light any place up with her laugh. Heaven’s gate surely opened wide to welcome this angel home! Rest in Heaven girlfriend. See you on the other side ❤

Always fun, adventurous, giving and dedicated to education in every way. Knowing and working with Mary Frances Hampton City Schools was a gift to me and I treasure every moment. Being able to connect with her after retirement made for much fun and great discussion. My condolences to her family and friends. I feel tremendously blessed to have had her in my life, and will keep her in my heart.

The world has lost a lovely, fun loving, intelligent and generous individual.
I met “Mrs. Briley” when she was my sixth grade teacher at Hidenwood Elementary School.
She and Mr. Briley ran an after school program full of games, fun and a great place to hang out with lots of activity. I really appreciated the Brileys and will never forget how much she cared about us preteens. She will never be forgotten!
Comfort and peace to her family and friends and really, anyone who...

Mary Frances Briley was married to my first cousin Vernon "Pete" Briley. She will be greatly missed by our family. I always enjoyed seeing her at our family gatherings. I am sorry for her family's loss. May God comfort them at this time.

Having been friends with Mary Frances for fifty years, our friendship became one of being “buddies.” We shared fun, joys and sometimes sadness. Mary Frances was generous with anything she had that would help or bring happiness, especially planning great times with other “buddies” at her beach house, “Jus Beachy.” She will sorely be missed but never forgotten!
